Brampton And Regional Islamic Centre (BARIC)<\/strong><\/p>

Location: Brampton, Ontario<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Brampton And Regional Islamic Centre (BARIC) is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to provide religious and community services to the Muslim Community of East Brampton, Ontario. The Centre currently operates from a 5,600 sq.ft. space in a commercial plaza, offering daily prayers, Jumu\u2019ah prayers, Ramadan programs, youth initiatives, Madrasa classes, and various other religious services. BARIC is a rapidly growing organization and is actively working toward establishing a new Centre on its purchased land, with a vision to expand its programs and better serve the community.<\/p>

BARIC is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and community-focused Imam<\/strong> to join our growing Masjid. We are looking for a leader who brings strong spiritual grounding, positive energy, and a genuine passion for building a vibrant and united Muslim community.<\/p>

\u00b7 A warm, approachable personality with the ability to connect with all ages.<\/p>

\u00b7 Strong passion for youth engagement and mentorship.<\/p>

\u00b7 Dedication to community growth through programs, outreach, and education.<\/p>

\u00b7 Ability to deliver inspiring khutbahs, halaqas, and educational sessions.<\/p>

\u00b7 Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.<\/p>

\u00b7 Commitment to representing BARIC\u2019s values of inclusivity, service, and excellence.<\/p>

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>

\u00b7 Lead daily prayers, Jumu\u2019ah khutbahs, Eid prayers, and special religious services.<\/p>

\u00b7 Teach Madrasa students and serve as Madrasa Principal.<\/p>

\u00b7 Plan and manage Ramadan programs.<\/p>

\u00b7 Organize and manage the Kid\u2019s Summer program.<\/p>

\u00b7 Develop youth programs, mentorship initiatives, and community activities.<\/p>

\u00b7 Deliver educational programs such as lectures, halaqas, and workshops.<\/p>

\u00b7 Provide spiritual counseling and guidance to congregants.<\/p>

\u00b7 Engage positively with families, seniors, and newcomers to foster a welcoming environment.<\/p>

\u00b7 Collaborate with BARIC management on community development and outreach.<\/p>

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>

\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher in Islamic Studies from an accredited Islamic institution or recognized certification in Qur\u2019an, fiqh, and Islamic studies.<\/p>

\u00b7 Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Imam.<\/p>

\u00b7 A Sunni Muslim well-versed in the Qur\u2019an, Sunnah, and Islamic Jurisprudence.<\/p>

\u00b7 Strong knowledge of Qur\u2019anic sciences and Tajweed.<\/p>

\u00b7 Preferably a Hafiz of the Qur\u2019an.<\/p>

\u00b7 Ability to engage and guide youth and community members of all ages.<\/p>

\u00b7 Fundraising experience for Masjid projects is an asset.<\/p>

\u00b7 Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset).<\/p>

\u00b7 Computer literacy.<\/p>

\u00b7 Ability to lead and support a culturally diverse Muslim community in the Canadian context.<\/p>

\u00b7 Must be eligible to work in Canada.<\/p>

Compensation<\/strong><\/p>

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.<\/p>
